Something cold for a cold season, and cause I'm cold and have been plagued by a cold for several days now. *sniffles*

anyway, I'm sure there are a lot of people who are chock full to bursting with nice comments for me, and those are always appreciated, but don't be afraid to critique as well, okay? Even something small could be a big help, yeah? :)

think I'll make a print of this later, too... I've barely used my print account at all XD

edit: changed some things best I could according to people's advice...hope it looks a little better ^^; some things not so much because it was intentional or because I don't know how. like the face? No matter how much I stare at it at different angles it still looks like a woman's to me. kinda frustrating XD

and thanks for all the crits guys, seriously... :)

This is really cool. Your have a very nice painterly technique. I like the colors and cloaked figures alot. if I were to crit anything I'd say her arms seem a bit small and short in puportion to get body.

Otherwise great job.

well... her face is kinda masculine. And that... blade (is that what it's called?) in her staff looks transparent :0 Somehow.

Ahh that's beautiful :D How wonderful, I even caught it on the frontpage as you submitted it!

I love those painterly strokes you use... Was it Painter, or OC, or... ? (I'll check your userpage after ;D)

Her pose is great and really seems to say a lot about her as a person/character, also accented by the things following her.

It's such an eerie picture with such immense beauty. So rare that you find creepily haunting and mindblowing elegance within the same frame.

Really great work. Her right arm (with the scythe) looks a little bit short, like the perspective is not quite right. Other than that, I can't see anything else to be pointed out.

I absolutely LOOOOOOVE this! You always have such amazing use of color, it really is an eye-catching gift. Your backgrounds are awe-inspiring, no joke (I typed 'jo noke' about eight times), and the detail everywhere is absolutely marvelous. I can find nothing at all to critique, although the torso seems just barely short somehow. I cant even put my finger on it, and it took about ten minutes of squinting to notice, so maybe my eyes are just tricking me.


Update more oftennnn! You are, by far, one of my top three favorite artists on DA.

OOOO, pretty, I love the selective colors as opposed to leaving it too stark, green was a good choice ^^

Critique? Oh where to start... nah just kidding it looks great! they only things I can comment on is those weird things in robes behind her that I don't really understand and her right leg's shadows being a bit too hard and the staff's shadow at the bottom looking kinda weird

everything else looks really nice though :thumbsup:
