I can be who I want to be, no matter where or what I am. But sometimes it can be too hard or can hurt too much...to be me.
I felt like drawing this after hearing of a dear friend's situation...it actually came out pretty much how I wanted it, though theres probably lots of anatomical and proportional issues. I should really try learning anatomy properly...
oh man I can't believe I did that heheh, I should probably fix that, thanks for pointing it out as for being able to stitch himself up...skills but really, you could do it, it would just take a long time.
Stich himself up? Oh he's double jointed and extremely dexterous.

Hey hey! If we're not looking at the anatomycal correctness of this pic, it's very very very intresting and very meaningful.
Nice job. The red compliments the black/white. Almost reminds me of somthing sekira would do.

I see what you mean about the hand, but as for the neck.. the head is supposed to be bent forward, like he's hunching. so I think that would explain the neck problem, but it could be that you're right
This is an awesome piece, Gray. I’m so used to checkin’ your creature studies ‘n’ stuff – elegant and detailed dragons or fantasy illustrations. But you have a real knack for human study, too. ^^ And for the real emotional kinda’ illustration work, especially here with a simple grayscale that accentuates the blood reds. Real raw kinda’ emotion goin’ on, both in the composition and mechanics of the piece. Really feelin’ this, Gray, great work.

And as far as proportions go, you did a real good job except your hands reach to mid-thigh and it looks like you didn't give the drawing a neck.
