This is why we die, its why we bleed, its that hollow feeling amid the fear of death, its humanity.
I absolutely love the colors on this one.

angry alien :) I like it!
Oh. It's totally holiday. I mean...Red. All over the place. The lighting could be
mistaken for green even though it's more of a turquoise/blue, but whatever, right?
Merry christmas to the red spikey robots all over the world!!!
:O
Yess...the megamanish arm cannon. Kee!
Great job. Wonderful detail...now make
it into a finished one, not a doodle! :o

sketch or not I like the colours and i think you did a good job with the reflections
NO! This is totally holiday-ey

This is the Robot of X-mas Future. Man't attempt at continuing to maintain the magical ideals while still keeping the traditions of Christmas, faced with the heart-breaking reality of children figuring there is NO Santa Claus, a well-minded group of inventors created this fine spectacle of achievement we see here. A super-quiet, hovering tiny bohemith that sneaks from house to house dispensing joy with only a .0000000012 error rate, whom only asks for a evening snack of lasers.

However, whilst visiting Suzie McDoogal's home in southern Illinois, the robot stumbles into trouble. As the Robot quietly places the tightly wrapped box containing Suzie's brand-spankin' new Betsy-wets-herself, he spies from the corner of his optics retical.... a short sillohuette. It's Suzie, water in hand............staring a blank stare, riddled with fear, and a single tear... rolling down her cheek..... and into her waterglass.

The two lock stares..... and then the silence is broken as Suzie heavs the waterglass at the Robot, sending it shattering to his metal hull, a bevy of buzzing circuits send the Robot of X-mas Future a stumble..... Power supplies draining, backup generator supply kicking on.... The world is now only a heat sensitive pattern of Greens and yellows and reds to the robot.

It stands.....and watches as Suzie runs screaming from her room. Something in the robot has changed..... It's witnessed humanities attempt at good, and it's inevitable failure in the eyes of the young, ignorant, pure of soul Suzie McDoogal. In this moment he is aware of his existence. It is not saddened by this fact though, for robots aren't capable of such emotions.... He is aware of the good he has done, and aware of the bad..... But he is not aware of how he should feel.

The backup power supply kicks off and the main power supplies whir back on. The world is in color again.... and The Robot of X-mas Future is back on route... to simulate joy to all the boys and girls.

least thats my take on it.
